I work as an IT guy at an educational institution. I have two buildings I have to support, along with a wireless network off site. We have about 200 computer with 80-100 people that I help support. Lot’s of day to day issues come up, hopefully I can cover some of those here. I will occasionally write about tech news as well.

I have a question concerning gaming. I play a Facebook game that is easier to play if you click on “full screen.” I’ve done it for months. Now when I click on “full screen” my screen freezes. Why does this happen? It happens on my HP notebook. On my HP desktop, it works just fine. What’s going on? And how do I fix it?
Have you tried updating to the latest version of flash? 10.1 just came out. It address mostly security issues, but has some performance tweaks in it as well. Try update by going to adobe.com and click the Get Flash Player button.
